Today is LOSERVILLE Day! Hoorah!
First I woke up late, so I rushed to wash up and drove to work. It was raining cats and dogs. Just remembered that I had to drop by the post office to send a card. So I parked the car, found an umbrella and got out with the card. OK, no wallet. Head back to the car to find it. Couldn't. Tried to close the brolly. Couldn't. Car was getting wet. So was I. Threw the brolly on the road and closed the door. Really searched the car. No where to be found. Bugger.
Can I get through today without a wallet? Nope. Drove the 20 klicks home to get it. It wasn't at home either, so it's gotta be at the office. That's when I knew this day would be special.
Got back to the office, and it's still pouring. Turned to the back seat for the brolly. Oh it's on the road at the post office isn't it? Walked up to the office. I had to print an email so I can collect my tix to Hong Kong. Got the email, forgot to print it. Had to run.
Before heading off to my appointment I took a chance and drove back to the post office to collect it. Hey it's still there, and it hadn't been run over or anything! Things are starting to look better.
After my appointment, went off to the travel agent to collect my tix. My servicing agent had been transferred to another branch. Had the nice ladies there issue the tickets at the branch. Whew.
Now I'm back at the office. Nothing more is gonna wrong is it?
